CCC Plc, Cameroons' top financial house renews confidence in management board

This was during the 12th Annual General Assembly of the Community Credit Company (CCC) Plc that held at the Bamenda Azam Hotel on Saturday March 21st, 2015.


The unanimous re-election of all eleven Board members headed by Prof, Ndifon Peter may not have been unconnected to the positive general report presented by the Board Chairman and the 2014 management report presented by that company’s General Manager, Ngoh Walters.

In his report the Board Chair expressed satisfaction with the balance sheet of the 2014 business year in spite of some challenges especially loan delinquency.
"I am proud to inform you that the COBAC control mission of 2014 noted with satisfaction the progress recorded by the company in a bid to conforming to their recommendations. To buttress their findings, the Cameroon Ministry of Finance in their quarterly publication has continued to rank us (CCC Plc), top on the list of Category 1 microfinance institutions in Cameroon.", Dr. Ndifon Peter said. He then announced to the applause of members that, the company would soon complete the necessary legal requirements to move the financial house to a Category 2 microfinance institution.

For his part, the General Manager, Ngoh Walters announced that the re-structuring of the company will continue in 2015. According to him priority areas for this business period include among others; the acquisition of optical fiber to improve connectivity, the construction of the fisrst phase of the Bamenda office the commercialization of VISA MASTER Cards and the setting up of a new branch in Bambili.
