Hope

It’s never a smooth run, yet never the final stop

Like a speed bump we are slowed down, but never halted

The wind may sway the tree, but grow it will

The rocks in the river may obstruct its flow, but never its destination

Hold strong, stay focused and victory is yours to claim

The sun shall guide you by day and the moon by night

For what the mind wills, the heart carries and life brings

Like sailors we row, harder at times yet relentlessly

Until we make it to that which is our destiny
